Life is short ... III

Of the series, presented, this is by far my favorite. The angle and pose of the model is defiant, and challenging. As if she is capable, even at her barest of facing anything that comes her way . The train tracks to me symbolize our chosen path in life. As if she choses to stand in the center of an oncoming change when she could easily have taken the shawl and cover herself and stepped off the tracks.

The detail of the trees, sky, ground, and tracks are excellent, and I love how the tones start from the top in white to a darker grey as your eyes go down. It mimics the model's body from her shoulders to the tips of her boots.
