As always, very nicely done, Peter! Your technique is on spot. The mood of naughty vs. nice is very appealing. The light play with the shadows - the "teacher" or "guardian" in the shadows hidden perhaps with hidden motives as well and the "student" toward the light exposing all - is purely genius and sets this piece off and apart from most others with the same theme that I've seen. The inclusion of the indents in the skin of the subject from the "rod" gives it a unique touch and very real feel to the onlooker. Brings to mind the phrase "spare the rod, spoil the child" and such. I can put myself easily in this situation and feel each texture in the photo including the cold of the metal desk under my bear skin to the sting of that rod scolding me for what I'm left only guessing since the teacher is in shadow and out of the picture almost. All in all another A+ piece.
