My technique for snowflakes shooting(russian version of this post in livejournal)
I capture snowflakes at open balcony of my house, mostly on glass surface, lighted by LED flashlight from opposite side of glass, and sometimes in natural light, using dark woolen fabrics as background.
On a floor of a balcony I put the turned stool (legs up), on them - a glass plate. Previously, i shoot in Canon A650's standard macro mode. For this, from a small plastic bottle I cut central cylindrical part in the form of a tube height 5.5 cm. This height I picked up so that the lens of the camera, pushed in a tube, will be at distance 1 centimeter from the bottom (this is minimum focusing distance of Powershot A650 in macro mode). I just put this cylinder with the camera's lens into it over the chosen snowflake, the lens looks vertically down. For steady shots, i shoot in small series with starting delay 1-2 seconds after focusing, taking away my hands off the camera. With free

A few weeks ago I had the misfortune of discovering the "art" of Terry Richardson. I actually work in the fitness and health industry I came across talk about a scandal pertaining to the advertisements of the Equinox Gym chain. I had no clue what the scandal or controversy was about I had assumed the usual gripes about the women in the ads being too skinny or too fit and in too skimpy of clothing and so I Googled it. What I found were very poorly executed shots that look like they belong in a mid-1980s Whitesnake video. Basically cliché upon cliché topped off with misogynistic and homo erotic cliché. I have no problem with naked girls, in fact I LOVE naked girls ( when portrayed beautifully) and I have no problem with homo eroticism, to be honest I find it the most palatable way in which to view men engaged in sexual behavior, my issue is with the misogyny ( smoothing that it turns out

J'espère que quelqu'un pourra m'aider mais j'ai vraiment besoin de vous : comment faire de belles photos lorsque le soleil/la lumière n'est pas parfaite? Je m'explique : la plupart de mes photos que j'ai pu prendre dans la forêt jusqu'à présent ne sont pas très belle, sûrement par manque de luminosité. De ce fait, il y a un espèce de grain sur mes photos, les couleurs sont pas belles... Bref, pas mes meilleures photos quoi. Et avec les caprices du temps anglais (bien qu'il fasse plutôt beau en général), j'aimerai bien connaître quelques réglages, si tant est qu'il y en est. Et si vous savez pas mais que vous connaissez quelqu'un qui pourrait m'aider/me renseigner, s'il vous plaît, donnez moi le nom de cette personne.
